Double-rimmed baskets really aren’t good. They are mostly on outside hoops and they are very very bouncy, so when you shoot, and it touches the rubber, double-rimmed basket, then it almost always bounces out.
Double rims are used so it is harder to hang on the rim and damage the hoop.
