How high is the rim of a basketball hoop, outside?

I just looked at mine and wondered how my middle school daughter got the basketball through the hoop. It looks too high. Is this the reason she was good at three pointers in middle and high school? I just need that one measurement. Rim height from ground to metal rim of hoop. Thanks

How steep can a driveway be for an in ground basketball hoop?

I have a large three car garage driveway that would be perfect in size for an in ground basketball hoop on one side. The problem is it has a slight slope and not a completely flat surface and I’m worried it should be flat or near flat for that kind of hoop. Does anyone know the max slope a driveway should have for an in ground basketball hoop? Any experience with one on a sloped driveway? Thanks>

How do you fill in a plastic hole basketball hoop?

Hi. I bought a Basketball Hoop with a plastic base in which water is pumped in for a pool. While moving the unit around, i noticed a hole less than a penny’s size big, on the underbelly of the unit, on the water tank.

What should i do to fill this hole in?
Is it even possible to fill this hole in?

Whatever it is, it needs to be waterproof, and able to sustain the NJ summer.

Thank you.

I’d try a pool patch kit, I’m not sure if it will hold, but it’s worth a try. A tire patch may even work depending on the type of plastic.
