And it ended fittingly with the longtime Shasta Cascade League, inter-district and south Siskiyou County rivals. This is the first half of the varsity girls game. John joins Mike Summers and, later in the evening, longtime friend and radio commentator Al Blackmore. The game was a classic battle, but it was the night John Googins passed the torch, and the keys to the company store, to Mike Summers as Action Video Entertainment would move into a new chapter just 6 1/2 years later.
