Whats the point of professional womens basketball?

Its not entertaining, they cant jump, who wants to watch butch women try and play a game anyway? Can u believe that we canceled arena football and we kept WNBA it makes no sense? who goes to those games?
haha a girl named moiesha told me off.

little girl those boys dont want to play basketball with you and you are an embarrasment to their team. whenever there was a girl on my team when i was little it was like the worst thing ever even if they were good for a girl they were bad as a player.

I guess it’s the whole equal rights thing and a society against sexism and whatnot.
I’m a girl and i think pro basketball for women is a joke. It’s not entertaining, they’re not that great, and there’s no aggression or passion whatsoever.
There’s no need to try and hype the WNBA up to try and get it popular like the NBA. It’s rather stupid actually.

Would they ever make a wnba video game or ncaa womens basketball game?

Or even any womens sports game…

No. Because when playing video games people want to have fun. Lack of dunking is not fun.

In womens pro basketball is the basketball bigger than the NBA?

Ive heard WNBAs basketball is bigger than NBA is that true?Ive always thougt it was since women are clumsier with thier hands.LOL!

Spalding NBA Ball: 30.5
WNBA Ball: 29.5
NCAA Ball: 29.5
Whatever you heard about there ball being bigger isn’t tree. If you’ve ever gotten a chance to hold their ball it’s alot lighter as well.

If Don Imus was a black man, would his comments on the Rutgers womens basketball team be a big deal ?

I’ve often heard this alot, that the difference between a casual joke and a racial slur / hate speech is the speaker’s race.

And aren’t we playing right into "Dirty" Don’s hands, by giving that honkey all the publicity he wants and putting him on the world stage ?

No, there is a double standard and I find his remark to be more sexist than racist
——————-

Don Imus has been dismissed because people want justice, however it is a different standard. Look at Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Rosie O’Donnell, Geraldo; they have all been offensive and possibly they should be removed as well.

I state my opinion; maybe I should be removed. It is true that Don Imus said something wrong, however how many times did the news cast repeat it causing even more damage?

I have not been a fan of Imus; however I do value my freedom.
He apologized, that is what was needed. What use will it be for him to be nailed to a cross ??

On the other hand, no charges were pressed against the person who said she was raped by Duke La Crosse Players, why not ? If someone causes harm like she did, charges and penalties should be assessed. By her doing this, takes away from those that have been truly raped, and takes away the credibility of future victims (?)

Is anyone on the Rutgers womens basketball team not adult, and not in a $multi-million worldwide TV event?

I don’t see how anybody can say that these "girls" were not fair game for national discussion–which is one of the main criticisms of Don Imus’s comments.

Isn’t their coach writing a $multimillion book?

Isn’t college womens basketball a HUGE industry??? How can anyone participate in one of the professional college sports industries–really BILLIONS are at sake with advertising, equipment makers’ revenues and endorsements, and TV time, and the salaries of the basketball announcers.

So how can these girls and Oprah and Hillary and others say that nobody should be talking about them?

PLEASE NOTE: This issue is entirely separate from the issue of what Imus said about them–it is only about whether Imus should be allowed to say something negative, not racial.

Good point.
