The lakers need to get younger, and rebuild and reload going into the future. The only problem is every team needs a star player/ go to player to be an elite team. Kobe Bryant is no longer a star player at this stage of his career, and he’s on his way out soon. Unfortuntely we don’t have any high draft picks either. So what are some realistic ways they can get a young good elite player?

Lakers still have 4 good player that they can
build around.
much as I love Fisher, but Laker need to find a better
defensive and younger PG. Kobe will still be the star till
he retires. till then I doubt that Lakers will blow up the team.
knowing Jerry Buss, he want Kobe to win much as possible
while he is still playing in the NBA.

Get rid of Kobe. He maybe respected on the court but let’s face it he is reason along with the GM the Lakers have not attracted younger players. The city will sell itself Jerry Buss just needs to clean house.
Stop snitching Kobe you did it to Shaq now Gasol…..

A lot of people don’t realize how good the players will turn out to be during the draft.
For example, nobody expected Kobe to be that good during the draft, look at what happened. We’ll just have to see what happens when we draft someone.
Or some other options to rebuild the Lakers is by giving Bynum a chance to progress because he’s very young, we can also try to get players that are good and young enough to form around the Lakers. We don’t always need these big time players like D Rose or something, we just need simple and good players to get the job done.
Take Pistons in 2004 and Nuggets lineup today for an example. They didn’t need this big star but they got the job done.
